Jonathan is a teacher in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He had a degrees in history and economics from Southern Oregon University, where he also received a masters in teaching. Since 2022, he has been working on an MA in American History. Studies include philosophy, historiography, and economic history.

He is a union and community organizer with the Democratic Socialists of America. In 2020, he was a policy and campaign advisor to the Hugh Palcic campaign, and in 2022 was the Democratic candidate for the Oregon House. Jonathan organizes with the Klamath County DSA, Klamath Falls Education Association, the Klamath County Democrats, Community Action Coalition, Oregon Educator’s United (of OEA), and has affiliations with the Pacific Greens, the Communist Party USA – Oregon Chapter, and independent groups.
