Jonathan is a teacher in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He had a degrees in history and economics from Southern Oregon University, where he also received a masters in teaching. Since 2022, he has been working on an MA in American History. Studies include philosophy, historiography, and economic history.

He is a union and community organizer. In 2020, he was a policy and campaign advisor to the Hugh Palcic campaign, and in 2022 was the Democratic candidate for the Oregon House. Jonathan organized with the Klamath County DSA chapter from 2020-2025, Klamath Falls Education Association, the Klamath County Democrats, Community Action Coalition, Oregon Educator’s United (of OEA), and has affiliations with the Pacific Greens, the Communist Party USA – Oregon Chapter, and independent groups.
